About Us

The Marple Newtown Ice Hockey Club is a community-based ice hockey program dedicated to growing the game within the Marple Newtown School District. We provide a safe, inclusive, and competitive environment for players from Kindergarten through 12th grade, with a strong emphasis on skill development, teamwork, character, and community pride—both on and off the ice.

Our program offers weekly practices for all age groups at PNY Sports Arena, ensuring consistent development and a shared home for our players and families. We field one to two teams at each playing level, allowing athletes of varying experience levels to learn, grow, and compete at the appropriate pace.

The Marple Newtown Ice Hockey Club is structured to support players throughout their hockey journey:

Elementary Program (Kindergarten–4th Grade)

Middle School Program (5th–8th Grade)

High School Program, featuring Junior Varsity and Varsity teams (9th–12th Grade)

As a feeder program to our high school teams, we are committed to long-term player development and creating a positive pathway from first skate to graduation. Above all, we strive to build confident athletes, respectful teammates, and proud representatives of the Marple Newtown community.
